At first look. The property from the outside was very deceptive to the gem that was inside. The lobby staff were very helpful and accommodating. I arrived a little early but they offered to hold my luggage in a safe location until my room was ready while i walked around the surrounding area.( i did not know until later that for them to do that,it came at a cost)
I felt safe and secure in the hotel. Cameras on every floor and covering every entrance and exit. My room was perfect for me. The view was city view so i didnt expect much. The bathroom had one of the best shower head ive ever felt. I didnt use the sauna. I was not experienced enough to use it. But knowing i had one was a plus. A toilet with a bidet. At least that is what i thought it was. Some hose contraption connected to the toilet. The room smelled of vanilla and the cleaning staff never disappointed. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit.

The service was superb. Property shows some wear after 10 years. Pool wasn’t heated as should be. Location is great and the simple but efficient beach service is a nice touch. Hopefully I’ll come back next year.

Breakfast menu was unparalleled. So many options on the buffet, all delicious, and the menu items are prepared to perfection.
The staff is warm, attentive and kind.
The property is beautiful, with superb design and attention to details, surrounded in lush greenery.
The pool area is so luxurious, we didn't want to leave it.
I would heartily recommend.

We arrived at 5am and therefore had to pay for an extra night. The breakfast (which was included) was excellent. Our room was just adequate but the view of Copacabana Beach was terrific. The staff was friendly and helpful (except for charging us for an extra night). We enjoyed our stay.

This is a 3 star hotel, not the 4. Hallway cleanliness was below 4 star expectations. Our shower had black mold in the grout. Mold was also where we had to hang the towels on the hooks on the wall.
