Pea Point Island Lighthouse Tours and Activities

Hotel location was superb, staff was extremely helpful, check-in was a breeze, bed was really comfortable & the kitchenette with a small refrigerator came in very handy. The hotel is historic with various period furniture pieces in every room (our queen bed was most impressive) but while the lobby has been nicely updated, the carpeting on the staircase & in the hallways definitely needs upgrading. Sadly, fruit flies swarmed our glasses of red wine for 2 nights in succession which didn't add to our stay. Parking can be at a premium when the hotel is fully booked so some customers have to park on the street, which isn't ideal. The Kennedy House seems a bit tired (the grout around the tub in our room could use replacing) but overall it is a good hotel & we would return.

Wonderful stay. Staff are very nice and accommodating as well as management.

Difficult to lock exterior door if on a main floor room. Little privacy if on a main floor rooms as you back on to the parking lot. If you want to open curtains in the morning people walking or driving by can see into your room. Would be nice to have sheers to have a little more privacy.
