Pea Point Island Lighthouse Tours and Activities

At 6:45 nobody in the restaurant or front desk. We had to make arrangements elsewhere. The shower was extremely slippery and the air conditioner extremely noisy.

Glad it was only one night. We had probably the nicest room in the hotel. There’s no regulator on the hot water. I was showering and someone must have either flushed a toilet or turned on the cold water and I was scalded. Very upsetting and stressful end to my day. The blow dryer was from the 1980’s. Took forever to dry my hair. Our balcony room had a balcony you could only access from the hall corridor. I went to use it and some random couple was on it and I was left to ask them to leave. They were somewhat offended they had to. Completely awkward. There was never once someone at the reception desk our entire stay. A wait staff from the restaurant gave us our room key and took payment. For the price it was a complete bust and disappointment. Do not recommend this place

This is a sweet little historic hotel. Each room is slightly different and there are loads of open areas downstairs in which to sit and read or chat. There’s also a deep front balcony and a lovely garden. It’s a short walk down to the quiet pebble beach with views of the bay and distant cliff caves. The tiny town of Saint Martin’s offers only summer tourist fare but it’s charming. The inn staff is lovely, the beds are very comfy, the decor fits the building, and there are even two cats roaming the property to top it off. It was the nicest place we stayed during our trip all over the Maritimes, along with being the most economical, and we wish we had just spent the entire 10 days there. We will return!
