# Paseo Vara de Rey Tours and Activities

![Photo taken on my recent visit to the beautiful island of Ibiza, in the town centre is the statue of Joaquín Vara de Rey y Rubio, born on Ibiza on 14th August 1841 and died fighting as a General in the Independence War of Cuba 1st July 1898.
