Everything was really good, especially the spa, but except for the breakfast buffet the restaurant had mediocre food and even worse service. I therefore would highly recommend staying at the Garden Hotel and Spa, but eating your lunch/dinner elsewhere. There are no restaurants within walking distance, but may really good ones 15-25 minutes away by taxi.

Solid hotel in central Bishkek, a quick walk to the center of the city and the main sites. Not flashy, and the room had a distinct lack of decor—we suspected the hotel had been retrofitted from some kind of other building originally. But clean, and nice. Great breakfast bar and the hotel is attached to one of the most popular restaurants in town, Navat. Also easy access to other good restaurants and a coffee shop across the street. Recommended.
