Forfaits vacances – North Clifton

Mattress needs replacing and there was a rotten sewage smell in the grounds. Staff helpful as d friendly but pls d needs updating

The new Hyll hotel (replacing Charingworth manor) is a wonderful place for a quiet time in a traditionnal manor decorated in a very modern way. Everything is fine : - rooms : the newly decorated rooms are very well equipped with wonderful beds. - break

We loved our stay at Cotteswold house. The cottage we stayed in was extremely cosy and comfortable and had everything that we needed. The owners were responsive to any questions that we had. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Brandon Hall Hotel and Spa. On the first day, our room was quiet and comfortable, and the hotel staff we met were all pleasant and very helpful. The spa facilities were good, with the pool, sauna and steam room adding to the enjoyment, though the lockers could use attention. The second day was less relaxing, as a large event caused corridor noise late into the evening. Our pool visit was also disappointing due to disruptive behaviour from leisure members, which the staff member on duty did not manage. This let down the otherwise excellent team. We would re‑visit the hotel, but hope by then it will have had that extra push to improve the overall ambiance of the property, freshening up neglected areas. Also, the leisure facilities need better management and attention, particularly the lockers, so hotel guests can enjoy them properly. Next time, we would check ahead to ensure no major events are scheduled during our stay.
