Newton-le-Willows Vacation Packages

Took two calls before check in pass codes were sent. Property is very run down. Broken window and poorly fitted doors and windows in room 10. Room smelled strongly of cannabis. Stained carpets and after booking as a pet friendly hotel we were told no dogs after 1 night. Hotel seems to be run as a kind of emergency accommodation for council services not fit for occupation in my opinion. If it had been advertised as ovo as indeed it is I would never of booked as poor experiences with this company elsewhere would of prevented it.police arresting a drug user outside the front gate upon arrival should of been a red flag.

I have visited UStay apartments previously and it didn’t disappoint 2nd time around. Everything you need is in a nearby location, whether that be a shopping trip or going for the night life, every thing is nearby. The apartments were very clean and well looked after.

The staff super friendly. Room was NOT A KING as described on Expedia. Told by front desk that is a UK king… which essentially was almost a queen. After objecting, they found us a room with two twins put together. As well as for our second room but that was a “accessible” room so not a totally acceptable change. The location is close to train station but also in a gritty part of town. One morning at 7:00 am there was trash all over the pedestrian street. Our room was quiet, air conditioning worked well, ran out of coffee to go cups, showered worked well and super hot water(too hot). Beds too soft for our liking. Poor mirror lighting in bathroom. No paper supplies in kitchen nor instructions for how use induction stove and microwave. Lastly, no ice machines. Not sure if any other Liverpool hotel would be much better.
