"Brand new hotel, staff is great and there are bald eagles flying around everywhere! Lots of other water birds as well. Nice outdoor space, but it was too cold. "

"The 1st room was terrible. Smelled like sewage and the bed was broken. Front desk checked us into a different room. Which was much better and they were prompt with the resolution "

"Clean room, TV didn’t work and several plugs in room were loose. Some places looked a bit rough as far as maintenance. Breakfast was good, coffee was terrible. "

"We always love staying at castaway Bay. A few disappointments this time. It seems they opened and closed a lot of the slides. We went to get ice cream on Saturday night and they were out of almost every topping. They said they were out of sprinkles but I saw a box there on the counter. I think they just didn't want to open the new box because it was the end of the evening. There's not a lot of other options so they should cater until the end of the day. "

"Hair on both beds, stains on the sheets, dirty floors in lobby and room. Our friend who also booked her said the toilet still had human waste in it and hair on the sheets. A man in the lobby had to ask the front desk for disinfectant because they didn’t clean the bath tub well. "

"Relaxing great time/ GM and staff #1 -were so personable and excellent in enhancing our stay with comfort- making us feel at home/ unbelievable view of the lake and sunrise/the restaurant-bar area so beautiful/ bed, bedding, and pillows provided great rest/Gym equipped with all my needs for a good workout/ a quick walk to the lighthouse/ recommend a stay to anyone and will definitely be back!
