Beautiful place and even more beautiful scenery

The hotel is well located with great amenities. I only had an issue with 2 things: They use shower curtains instead of glass to close off the bathtub/shower. The liner isn’t even plastic, it’s fabric and that’s gross. On top of that the bathroom doesn’t have an exhaust vent so the moisture gets trapped. So the shower curtain has mold all over it. The second thing is that I checked in for only one night at 11:40pm. Checkout time was 11AM. Why was housekeeping knocking on my door and waking me up at 9am? I understand that they want to know who checked out so that can get to cleaning as soon as possible but come on… I literally checked in the night before. The worst part is that they knock on the door and if I don’t yell WHAT and wake up my husband, they would’ve just walked on into our room. Can we please normalize waiting until checkout time to start knocking on doors????
