It’s a tiny hotel, so keep that front and center when you check in. We prepared by bringing very light luggage and being creative storing our things. That said, it’s a delightful place. Well appointed for spookiness and wit. Perfectly situated for seeing York.

I’d stay here again. Clean, comfortable, friendly. I had dinner in the rooftop restaurant. Delicious. My only gripe was how bad the breakfast coffee was! I brought my own and also made use of a little cafe round the corner. The hotel is really convenient for the station and Leeds festival shuttle bus too. The gym was good as well. Quiet when I went but on busy days it could take a bit of juggling.
