I’ve traveled to several different countries as a solo traveler, and I had higher expectations for Maldives. The service was decent. Some of the excursions were a little overpriced. There was a dirty mop smell near entrance where the mini bar was located. I thought housekeeping would have done something about the smell considering it was very strong. The chef at Tex Mex during the morning shift makes great food according to the menu. When I went back in the evening on my last day to purchase the same meal, the Nachos were completely different from what I had in the morning and it was difficult for me to finish the food (didn’t want to waste it). I did inform two staff members at the restaurant and the waiter asked if I wanted another one and I told her it would still come out the same because of the chef who’s cooking the meal. So all in all I paid for a meal I didn’t enjoy. This was the case for the items in the mini freezer, when I arrived I was told that the drinks in the freezer were complementary. When I went to grab a drink that turned out to be alcohol, I took a sip and it wasn’t good so I disposed the rest of the drink and I told the housekeeper this and I was still charged. In that same freezer I found something that appeared to look like mold on two of the alcohol bottles, and that could have contributed to the dirty mop smell I smelled around that area. I wasn’t aware that I was suppose to get VIP amenities during my stay, it sure didn’t feel like a VIP stay.

Absolutely outstanding week in a water bungalow. Excellent staff and service, facilities, food and could not have had a more brilliant time. It is a magical island and surrounded by unbelievably beautiful incredible sea life. Could not recommend more highly. Susil and Aalif in the outdoor dining, Schoag our room attendant, Shareef at the pool restaurant and Dinnusha the pool lady .... were all especially 5*****!

We booked Centara Ras Fushi for our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been any more perfect. It’s quiet, refined, professional, beautiful, and a remarkable place to spend your time at. Not only is the view from around the island remarkable, but the food is absolutely spectacular! Each restaurant has its own crafted menu and the breakfast buffet is vast with a plethora of options. Above all else the staff makes the experience PERFECT. You’re always greeted with a warm smile, and they’re extremely helpful! - Rajan from the house cleaning staff is a wonderful person and made sure our honeymoon was extra special! Without hesitation I’d stay at the resort again! 10/10 100/100! If you’re reading this review, don’t waste your time or money at another resort.
