The outdoor areas and landscaping are beautiful; however, several aspects of our experience need significant improvement. The restaurant dining areas were extremely hot and humid, and larger ceiling fans or improved ventilation are needed. Although the website advertises five restaurants, only two were operating during our stay. In addition, the wait time for meals was unacceptable—we waited nearly three hours to be served.
There were also no umbrellas available at the beach, which made it difficult to find shade. The quality of the alcoholic beverages was disappointing as well, particularly considering that the rum appeared to be very inexpensive and low quality.
Our room also had issues with humidity. The doors did not have seals along the bottom, allowing the air conditioning to cool the hallways while the rooms remained humid and sticky.
This hotel needs major improvements.
