Lone Ranch Beach Tours and Activities

I don't like writing reviews like this, as there is always some good things about every situation or establishments! In this case, the front desk people were helpful in trying to correct the issues. Overall, this is my fourth time staying at this establishment and I will have to say, each time the property seems to be that much more falling apart. I grew up in this area and I remember in the 1980s the property was still well managed and the "place" to stay. However, more recently in the 2000s it seems like the property is being more used for getting out the most profit with little to no maintenance to the property. It is disheartening to see such a property go down! This last time around will probably be the last time I stay there.

Liked the location near the water and two grocery stores across the parking lot. Enjoyable walking after a day’s travel. Though we didn’t use it we had a patio with two chairs and a small table where you could sit and look out at the water. A glitch on check in caused a duplicate pending charge on my credit card. Ultimately fixed. Employees were helpful and very pleasant.

Clean, comfortable, and updated property. Sleepy town so we were not too shocked to see a “in break” note on the door when we arrived to check in (at approximately 6:30 pm) so we went to dinner and found them back when we returned. Only slight issues were no elevator (so ask for first floor room if mobility is an issue) and breakfast was cold cereals and biscuits and gravy. I skipped breakfast but my friend said the biscuits were good.
