"Capitol Hill Hotel was conveniently located. The bed was very comfortable. The price was the best! The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Some suggestions are to upgrade the bathroom and ceiling. The breakfast could offer hard boiled eggs and crunchy apples."

"Beautiful room with two exceptions. It was difficult to access the t.v. for older guests like us. Needed help from the front desk. The bath towels were high up in the bathtub, which made it difficult for short people. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were all friendly and professional. I would stay there again."

"We stayed at Archer hotel for 3 nights in Oct 2026. It is in the central location of town and about 1 mile or 20 minutes on foot to the river front where there are lots of restaurants and shops. Hotel and room are very clean and look modern. The service is fast and they provide daily water bottles so it did save us time to buy water. Since it is right in town so the only option is valet parking and they charged $45/day which is a standard price of other hotels we stayed. If you want to explorer Alexandria old town then we recommend Archer hotel."

"The lady at check in set a perfect tone for our visit. She gave us a map, a list of restaurants and directions on where to go. All of her suggestions were perfect. The location is well positioned between the Wharf and the National Mall. All very walkable. The Hotel was immaculate. The staff were friendly and courteous. Restaurant is great. 6 star for total performance."
