Exceeding Expectations at Hale Aloha Kaloli~Air Conditioning Throughout the Home

"Our multi-generational group of five had a lovely stay at Montana and Bruce's home in late September. The property is perfectly situated equidistant to Hilo and the national park, making it easy for us to alternate between exploring in town and going on hikes. KTA and Foodland were close enough to the house that we could conveniently grocery shop when needed.Layout was spacious, offering privacy with my parents staying on one end of the house, while my husband, our five-year-old, and I stayed on the other. During the day, the property was quiet, and although it was hot when we'd return in the late afternoon, the space cooled down with the AC and fans on. At night, you can hear the coqui frogs, but the sound didn't bother us at all. Beds were comfortable and we all slept really well our entire stay. My parents were very excited to see papaya, passion fruit, and starfruit growing right on the property.The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and dinnerware, though a minor note that a few of the nylon cooking utensils could use replacements as the ends looked partly melted. But we appreciated that the fridge and freezer were stocked with some essentials and chilled beverages.Montana was friendly and very responsive to my messages, and my dad mentioned enjoying conversing with Bruce."

"We were here 3 years ago and it was just as magical as before. The sounds of the frogs are always hard to get used to the first night but when you leave you miss them greatly. We were hoping we would see Mango again. She popped over everytime she smelled the grill last time and we thought she was the neighbors cat. She was there to greet us as we drove in, much to our delight. She knows not to go in the house and likes to follow us around in the garden. The outdoor shower was incredible, especially in the rain! We will be back again one day! Maybe you can plant a shampoo plant?! It’s our favorite! Our kids LOVED picking the fruit. Thank you for another magical stay!"

"The views from every room in the house are stunning. Liv was very responsive to an any issue we had during our stay. The weather was challenging because of potential hurricane activity, but this was the best place in Hawaii to ride one out! Would definitely stay here again!"
