Hotel was located just at the edge of the main shopping and dining areas of central Bilbao. Everything seemed to be within walking distance and very convenient. Our suite was clean and large, had a separate bedroom with king bed and living area with pull-out sofa bed. It was perfect for our visit since we were dropping off our son to university and he needed to stay with us for a few days before checking into his dormitory. Breakfast was also included and consisted of pastries, breads, eggs, potatoes, ham, bacon, cheeses, fresh-cut fruit, cereals, yogurt coffees, teas and juices. We would definitely stay here again, or at another one of the Ilunion branded hotels.

Wish it had better area for smokers. Not convenient to be standing in front of hotel while smoking. Not pleasant. A smoking area would have been nice with some benches or something. Bar food needs work. More options for bar snacks. Same every day. Staff was great!!!

The hotel staff and service was exceptional and the breakfast option was well worth it. I felt very welcome and this hotel had a nice homey feel. Great location for walking distance to main areas but far enough away from any central noise.
My only complaint would be the hot/cold fluctuations with the shower usage. Any time another unit was using the shower at the same time this affected the temperature quite a bit. Tip: shower during the day when not many other guests are around or shower very early or late in the evening.
