Welcoming and helpful staff, clean room and the style of the room made us feel at home away from home.

We appreciated the location on the canal and having a private balcony. The property is surrounded by road construction which made access challenging. The room had several issues. The pillows were awful... very hard and need to be replaced. There was no shower curtain (had to have housekeeping replace), a bathroom floor tile was broken and a bedside lamp wasn't working. The office staff was pleasant and courteous as were the housekeeping folks, when needed. It's an older property with some maintenance needs, but a nice location on the canal.

My room was very quiet and I enjoyed having the kitchen amenities and the balcony. The bed was average. My only negative comments are related to the unusually excessive daily damage deposit that I wasn’t expecting - big upfront unexpected expense! Also there was no bus cart for me to take groceries up to my room - but the bellmen would do it for a set fee. The pool was lovely, but closed at 7pm, which seemed early to me for summer. I enjoyed my stay, but won’t probably return to this resort.
