Grindstone Lake

I really enjoyed my three-day stay at the Garrison Hotel. My room was very nice. Large, with 2 queen beds and nice pillows, modern lighting, large bathroom with a big lighted mirror, nice TV with a large selection of channels, and a big residential refrigerator plus a small one by the bathroom. Check in was quick and easy, lobby was clean and modern. They had a breakfast on the weekend although this time I didn't try it. There is also a nice indoor pool, but again I didn't try it out. All doors had a scan to unlock device that worked. If I had one complaint it would be that there was no microwave in my room, easy fix if management decides to correct this.

If you don’t mind hearing everything, including bodily functions and next door neighbors snoring all night OR sleeping with ear plugs in, then this is a great place to stay in Duluth! You cannot beat the price and the common areas are clean.
