With new COVID-19 rules and measures in place, travel looks a lot different today. Here are a few things to know before you pack your suitcase for Golden Circle:

• Investigate if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before booking your flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll have to follow on arrival, such as undergoing health assessments.
• When you pass through airport screening, do not remove your face mask. You will be required to briefly lower it for identification purposes. Travelers who refuse to wear a face mask may be denied entry or boarding.
• Avoid handing your boarding pass directly to a TSA employee. Rather, you should place the pass on the scanner and then hold it up for the agent to visually inspect it.
• You're allowed to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on bag. This will need to be removed for screening.
• Remove personal items from your pockets, such as your wallet, keys and phone, and put them in your carry-on instead of into bins. This will minimize handling during screening.
• Transport your food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping food separate from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA officer will need to open your bag for inspection.
