The Beach House was nothing short of amazing.
Entry be code, given well in advance. Awesome location - short drive to airport, quite central to visit attraction all around the island. (You do need a car, regardless of where you're staying.) Ample free parking along the road.
The unit itself was spotless and very tastefully furnished. Comfortable seating for 4 in the living room and a generous kitchen/dining table for 6. Each bedroom has its own ensuite with nice showers. A 3rd bathroom/shower on the main floor, so great for larger families. Nice balcony overlooking the ocean off one bedroom.
Kitchen fairly well equipped with utensils, plates, cups, etc. Note there is a stove but no oven. Host left a nice welcome basket. A small grocery just 2 blocks away and a full sixed Pingu "hypermarket" about 4 minutes up the road.
Would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting the island. Couldn't have been happier!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is amazing and the houseboat itself was spotless, comfortable and really well equipped. We especially loved the rooftop deck — such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The staff genuinely couldn’t have been more helpful. Communication was excellent throughout and everyone we dealt with was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delivered fresh every morning and could be tailored to exactly what you wanted, which was such a lovely touch.
Everything about the stay felt really well thought out, from the amenities on board to the fantastic service. Such a unique way to stay in São Miguel and one of the highlights of our trip. We would absolutely recommend it and would happily stay again!
