"I stayed at Ocean Club West Resort in Turks and Caicos from Thursday through Monday, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The resort was beautiful, clean, quiet, and very relaxing. Check-in was smooth and easy, and we were even able to get into our room a little early around 3 PM, which was appreciated after traveling. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in a spacious one-bedroom suite that was perfect for a couples getaway. The balcony was great, and I especially appreciated the mesh screen covering that helped keep mosquitoes away while still enjoying the outdoor space. The beach and water were absolutely stunning. One thing we loved was that there were always plenty of beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas available no matter what time of day we went down to the beach. We also ate at Reef Rockers twice during our trip and the food was excellent both times. Another highlight was booking an excursion directly through the front desk, which made everything very easy and convenient. The boat even picked us up right on the beach near Grace Bay Club. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay. We had beautiful weather, a wonderful experience, and would absolutely recommend Ocean Club Resort to anyone visiting Turks and Caicos!"

"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They all tried to make our vacation a memorable experience and there were many choices for meals and drinks. Our only concern was the room choices were a garden or pool view. Our room had a patio that looked at workers coming and going. The diving pool was there but we couldn't see anything due to a high fence and shrubbery covering the fence. There was a parking space for resort vehicles directly across from our patio so when we sat outside we looked at a parked vehicle. We did not have a garden or pool view. As I walked around the Caribbean village there were several rooms that has blocked or obstructed views, one looking at the back of a concrete utility building. I went to the concierge to ask for a room change and she said she couldn't change until the next day and we would have to be out of our room by 9am and couldn't enter the new room until 3pm. So we had no room for 6 hours. I asked to talk with the manager and I had to make an appoint the next day. I was very disappointed. We decided to stay in our current room. My suggestion is that if you have rooms with obstructed views that detract from the view it should be indicated in the booking of the room. Similar to seats at a baseball/football/soccer stadium that have obstructed view that are discounted due to a post or low roof that limit your view."
