"We went there for our honeymoon and it was amazing! Hotel is 5 min walk to eagle beach.We book dinner at passions on the beach! Dinner was actually on the beach romantic and view was amazing! We did a couple of excursions too such as horse back riding and nature pools with Indian caves with ABC tours and it was so much fun! "

"The RIU Palace had one of the best beaches. A phenomenal pool too. Staff is friendly and resort is well kept and clean. Rooms do need to be updated though. One negative about the resort is their restaurants. The food is nothing to brag about. The best one is the buffet. We ate there everyday. The food was great and endless variety."

"Prices are higher than ever , new management its all bout money and greed. the only way anyone smiles there is only if you tip them. The stay at the beach was painful as all the palapas / umbrella's were taken and you have to pay $40 daily to have an umbrella that barely protects 2 people.. even free water at the lobby now has one that needs tip to give you a tiny cup. "

"My sisters and I spent 7 days/ 6 nights at Tamarijn Resort rooms 1106 and 1108. Check in was slow - only 2 front desk attendants. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Spectacular ocean front views. Bathroom floors looked old and corners were dirty. Restaurants were good - didn’t like that days and times were limited - needed to make reservations 2 days prior. There should also be bottled water , sodas and tiny alcoholic beverages in fridge since resort is supposed to be all inclusive! "

"This beach was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was top notch. the rooms were nice. not very clean hotel but nice. downtown area has a lot of places to eat and shop. About a 15 minute walk. Area felt very safe. almost do not need the all inclusive. The all inclusive drinks were better than other all inclusives/beats Mexico hands down. you can actually swim at these beaches, no red flags. cannot bring shells home or off the island. restaurants at the hotel were very good. and you can go next...
