Staff was polite when I had to phone with a problem with checking in on the self check in screen. The room is very spacious and immaculately clean. It has been newly renovated.

The hotel seemed a little lacklustre this year. The rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained. The evening staff was very helpful. The day staff was unhelpful and unpleasant. A minor inconvenience was the ice-machine location up on the 2nd floor, which didn’t match the signage on the 1st floor. People in the two rooms across the hall were noisy and inconsiderate early in the morning when people were still trying to sleep. And, the room upstairs had people running around and thumping on the floor. Because of the solid surface floors (which are much cleaner than old carpet), there was nothing to dampen the noise coming from upstairs. Would recommend an upstairs room!
