The Corsair & Cross Rip Oceanfront Resort

"We were there for one night in mid-October 2026. The full kitchen was a surprising addition! The beds were comfortable. A sitting area as you enter through the sliders was a great space to relax. The bathroom and shower were good. Although we did not explore the many pool options available at their multiple properties, the outdoor pool and hot tub in our section (the Corsair) looked fine. There is an outdoor heated pool and an indoor pool in their other buildings. Having a beach to step out onto and walk (a short distance between the two jettes) was a bonus. There are beach chairs provided by the hotel. We have a dog so it is always great to find a pet friendly hotel with nice amenities. The pet fee is $50 per night, which if staying more than a couple of days is steep. We are used to paying between $50 and $100 for a pet fee per stay, not per night. And, there are specific rooms designated as pet friendly, so although we booked a second floor, sea-view room, we had to stay in a first-floor room with a parking lot view. In fairness to the hotel, we had booked through a 3rd party site, and I received an email from the hotel asking that I call about the reservation, so we were informed about the room change prior to arrival. Just a few notes of traveling with a dog. We would return, nice hotel in a great location."

"Completely updated older hotel. Everything was spotless. The room was nice with an excellent king size mattress. Very comfortable. Because it was older architecture the bathroom was pretty small. Small sink and standard size bathtub with shower. And there was no outlet in the bathroom. Apparently, they said they were going to be doing some updates to that in the winter for next season. They had a nice pool and fire pit. It’s on the main drag of Route 28 but it was quiet there. Of course we were there in October so not high season. Convenient location to everything the Cape has to offer."

The common area for breakfast or just quiet relaxation was very impressive. Huge wingback chairs, rockers , tables and a grand fireplace created a peaceful space to just relax. I can’t stress enough how absolutely spotless the property is. The staff is very cheerful, and eager to share their knowledge of the Cape. We will definitely stay at Winstead on our next Cape visit."

After some rearranging of the furniture we think that the Storm was actually a blessing. Your home is spacious and stunning. The Ceremony /Recepton became an intimate and fun night. We didnt even notice that there was a storm going on outside. We appreciated all of your ideas and your generosity. Stepping Stones Estate was perfect for our large family. It has that homey feel to it but is also spacious and elegant. The view of the harbor across the road is picturesque. We are looking for a reason to come back as this is our new favorite rental home.Michelle & Gary C."
