Firstly, the hotel advertised is not the hotel you stay in. The hotel is called something else and this is misleading. The room was dirty with stains on the carpet, hair on my pillows and a wall light hanging off the wall with wires exposed. The room was extremely hot and the portable fan could only be placed on the desk as there are no other sockets in the room meaning you can’t feel like breeze as it’s too far away. The paint on the ceiling was peeling off and the room looked more like a run down hostel. I ended up sleeping on top of the covers with my head at the bottom of bed in a very awkward position just to be able to sleep. The bathroom had yellow steins on the wall. The lift was broken meaning I had to walk up 9 flights of stairs to reach my room on the 9th floor. No offer of help from the staff to assist with bags. The stairs were disgusting with cobwebs, peeling paint and large spiders everywhere. It reminded me of a staircase in a run down city centre car park, all that was missing was a homeless person. The lift had been broken for 2 days and the hotel had made no attempt to inform me prior to my stay. Upon arrival I was told if I wasn’t willing to walk up the stairs unassisted then I could apply for a refund and book somewhere else. It was 21:30, nowhere else was available at such short notice but should I have known in advance then I would have cancelled. Overall, a terrible experience and probably the worst night I have ever had in a hotel.

Very clean room. Great location. I would stay again. It only dropped a rating from me, because they only provided two coffees (1 per person), the tv didn't work (no signal) and the check-in progress was a bit too long and the staff could of been friendlier and more helpful. But I would go again and it's perfect for couples.
