Cons: I stayed one night and it was quite uncomfortable, there was no a/c and during the heatwave made it worse A fan was in the room but it was just blowing hot air around the room. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel parking it’s quite expensive, and there’s a cheaper parking lot about 3 mins walk away which is what I decided to use instead. Room had No fridge. Pros: Staff were nice and helpful they provided an air cooler but helped a little. "Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."

"Welcome was lovely, room was really pretty with nice touches, pretty noisy though, you'll be lucky to get a solid nights sleep. Breakfast wasnt great either sadly. Overall though it was a lovely, pretty, welcoming hotel for a single night stay."

"Well positioned a short way up a small hill. Nice tasty meals. However the outside of the shower tray needed a deep clean and our room only had a skylight window which resulted in it being very warm, even at night, in the high temperatures."

"We loved staying here between our visit to Oxford and Bath. The house was very comfortable and gave us the feel for the Cotswolds even though we only stayed one night. The breakfast was delicious and the hostess was hospitable. The price of our May stay was extremely affordable and we feel we got our money’s worth by far. We just loved this place!!"

"Rooms were refurbished to a high standard. Our room overlooked a very well maintained private garden by the river. Parking can be an issue but we got a place. Service and staff were very good at our dinner and breakfast. Our Trout dinner was fresh from the nursery close by. The full English breakfast was excellent."

"The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips!
We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu...
