« Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has...

« We had a wonderful stay at Spindle Cottage in Bielby. It’s a lovely, traditional cottage full of character, set in a peaceful rural location that’s perfect for switching off and relaxing. Despite the quiet setting, it’s only a short drive to nearby supermarkets, pubs and restaurants, which made it really convenient. The hosts were very friendly and helpful throughout, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. A great choice if you’re looking for a comfortable countryside stay...

« The tobacconist apartment is situated in a fantastic central location. The flat itself is the epitome of stylish luxury. From the sumptuous living room with its comfortable sofas to the boutique hotel bathroom. There is a small but functional kitchen which is more than adequate but you’ll probably eat out most of the time like we did. We will definitely return to this apartment when we come back to visit York. »

« Propre, bien situé et calme, stationnement facile dans la rue et gratuit, à 30 minutes à pied du centre sinon payer très cher le parking . Très bien pour 4 personnes.L'annonce n'indique pas que l'escalier n'est pas fait pour les personnes à faible mobilité car il est très raide. « Lodge was really nice and clean and it was a really nice experience. However a few lights either didn't work or had no bulb in, the hall way light didn't work and when it was dark you couldn't see where you was going and the light outside the hot tub but this wasn't so bad as you had the fairy lights which gave a bit of light. Over all very nice »

« A lovely, clean and modern house, with everything we needed for our short stay. A 7 minute cab ride to the centre of York. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean.Just a heads up - the bathroom is downstairs, which we didn't notice on the listing, so our fault not the host's, but just to mention in case anyone is concerned about having to go downstairs in the night for the loo!Would happily stay again. »

I learned later they provide a replacement once you ask. They were responsive and I was grateful but pls pls provide a big fan. It got so hot one day like 33c and I was cooking ! »
