I love the zoo! The polar bear exhibit is amazing!
we have visited zoos all over the country. We were all really disappointed in the fencing and areas provided for the animals. no animals were energetic, all seemed hot and under nourished. many of the exhibits did not have an animal at all.
Takes a few hours to see everything. Well worth the price of admission.
We managed to do the zoo and some of the park in about 3-4 hours. Beautiful must see area and if you are looking for Winnie the Bear monument it is at the entrance to Nature Playground.
If you want to see the polar bears under water go as soon as the zoo opens.
Only good part was the polar bears. Thought there would be more up-to-date enclosures, way too many cages. Felt sorry for the meerkats, they never see the light of day.
