"Central Stratford, walk to Theatres"
Wonderful B&B, 14 rooms, 3 levels ( stairs) some pretty tight but ours was very comfortable. Breakfast room allows for separate dining tables (privacy) and breakfast menu provided choices of 4 mains, delicious scones, well worth getting up for! Avon theatre and downtown short walk, Festival Theatre 15-30 min beautiful walk along the river. Host was attentive but not obtrusive and extremely hospitable. Would definitely return.

"Better communication about room grades needed."
I booked this hotel in St Mary's based on the fact it was a quiet elegant place to rest and just a fifteen minute drive to Stratford where my wife and I had tickets to a number of performances during our five day stay. I expected to be staying in the Victorian house pictured in the advertising but when I arrived I was put in a small room adjacent in a red building. I was told that that was the room based on the Expedia pricing I had booked for five nights and I was not given the option of upgrading and really didn't think much of it at the time but looking back I think that the room size was too small for our extended stay. I think that there should be better communication with respect to what is advertised versus what is actually delivered. I paid $150.00 a night plus taxes and had one dinner and two breakfast for two totaling over $1,000. Our next two nights were spent at a Holiday Inn in London and the comfort there far surpassed what we experienced at the Westover for less cost.

"A Sisters trip to Stratford"
Six sisters, a sister-in-law and six daughters/nieces ranging in age from 63 to 16 spent two nights at the Stone Willow Inn for a 60th birthday trip to Stratford. The staff at the inn were extremely accommodating to our large and sometimes boisterous group. The younger members occupied adjoining rooms and we had two separate singles as well. Everything went really well and the whole trip was a memorable experience.

A Touch of Country Bed & Breakfast

"Lovely B&B, well situated for theatre."
Charming guest house in the country barely outside of the city centre and handy to the Stratford Theatre. The Meadow Suite had not only an enormous bedroom with a king bed but a huge bathroom with a whirlpool tub overlooking the corn fields. Spotlessly clean. Very gracious hosts. Highly recommend.

Mercer Hall Inn & Restaurant

104-108 Ontario Street, Stratford - Map
"Delightful small hotel central to all in Stratford"
I would recommend Mercer Hall to anyone going to Stratford for the festival. It feels like an old city inn, but the rooms are modern and beautifully appointed. Great pub and restaurant below with killer burgers, a good beer and wine list, and a commitment to getting you to the theater on time. Free parking out back, and we never touched our car during our whole stay, as the theaters are an easy 20 minute walk, and I could be running on the river path in three minutes. Nice shopping. Be sure to hit York Street Kitchen for breakfast!

"Great Rest at The Gregory"
We had a great rest and stay at the Gregory. Very comfortable restful sleep. Made to feel so welcome and enjoyed getting to know our kind "greg"arious host! Felt like we had known him longer than a day! Attention to detail like chocolate and soap made in Exeter are nice treats. Enjoyed the hot tub and pretty back yard garden. Delicious homemade breakfast. Room tip: Sandra-Lynn is a comfortable room, has a private (very nice, clean)bathroom but the bathroom is on a different level than the bedroom, at the bottom of the stairs and robes are provided. We did not mind this at all, but some may prefer the other rooms with en suite bathrooms on the same level.

"Client Training Trip"
This renovated hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. I had to extend my stay last minute and Kelly at the front desk went above and beyond to be sure I was able to keep my current room -- even though when I first inquired it looked like I was going to have to sleep in my car for a night.
