"We booked the Relais storico hotel but then I was told that the hotel is closed because of the coronavirus measures. Therefore we were offered another room at Minerva hotel. This building was quite old and outdated in comparison to the Relais pictures. However, the room was comfortable and there was a nice garden."

"The room was a good size with good facilities: wifi, fridge and kettle. Well done. One problem was that all the sockets except one were Italian, rather than European, and the fridge, kettle and my laptop all needed the European socket! The breakfast service was atrocious. The worst I have ever had anywhere. It took over 10 minutes to get a cup of tea. On my last morning I had finished my breakfast before the pot of tea arrived, so I did not have time to drink it. "10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...
