"This was an ideal stop for our whole family as we travelled through Raton headed to Yellowstone! House was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed! We sat on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful view and lovely weather. The beds were comfy and the house was very well maintained. We had plenty of towels and kitchen items. If you are traveling through Raton, you could not find a better place for your family!"

"The Second Story is a beautiful old home right on the main drag on the south end of Raton. Traffic was a little noisy at times but not much of a distraction. We had the entire second floor that has a sitting room with a great easterly view of the mountains and mesas that that made for wonderful sun and moon rises. Great little restaurants all over town, which you'll need because there is only a small refrigerator and coffee maker. We had a very nice stay and will be back at the Second Story...

"Our stay at the beautiful cabin was an absolute delight. The cleanliness of the house was truely exceptional, and the level of comfort snd and coziness surpassed our expectations. Its evident that a great deal of care and attention to detail went into maintaining the cabin. "Holiday Inn Express, in general, seems to have room maintenance issues. Many repairs are "inadequate" and tacky looking. I understand it's hard to hire good maintenance people, but try harder. This is a better place to stop than Santa Rosa NM. Quieter, less big rigs."
