It is a mile or so from the wharf and restaurants & we did lots of walking, but if you aren't up for lots of walking, then you need a car, or can do lyft. « A friend and I spent a week in Newport at this fabulous apartment. It was very clean, comfortable and well represented in the description. Having the restaurants so close on Broadway was great - easy to walk to those and downtown. I was worried that parking would be a problem but there was always a space right out front. If coming back to Newport we would definitely rent this unit again! »

« We enjoyed our weekend stay, the apartment was just as listed with some nice added touches of fresh flowers, and treats left by the Owner. Perfect location, we loved the convenience in getting to the wedding venue and enjoying a run along the ocean and Cliff-walk the next day. Check-in and out was simple and Owner was available if needed. Everything was great so we didn't have any reason to but nice to know they were there! »
