"Lovely hostel in a great location -- especially enjoyed the curtained beds which made sleeping easy and great breakfast! Generally good cleanliness, although did see a cockroach in the hallway one evening. Also, the rooms did get really hot in the evening and it was hard to bring the temperature down, but if you don't mind a toasty room it wasn't too bad. "
"This property is in a great location right opposite Manly surf beach and there are plenty of dining and cafe options in the immediate area. The property is super clean and well maintained however the rooms are quite small. So if you just need a nice safe and clean place to sleep and you are out and about all day I highly recommend this place to stay "
"The location is great, 1 block from the beach.
There is no A/C. Ok for most days with a cool ocean breeze. Had a record hot spell for 2days, 85F and so a little warm at night"
"Loved the classic hostel feel and intense walkability and beach access. The facility needs some repairs, but if you're young and traveling and need an inexpensive place, perfect. It's loud, but no more so than any other hostel experience. I felt a bit too old to be there at 29, but then again I'm fairly low key and wasn't keen on the party life."

5/5 Excellent
"My husband and I stayed in the East Harbour Room. The view was epic and beautiful. Big sky, big trees (the room overlooks the Domain and the Botanic Gardens) and the beautiful expanse of deep teal water stretching as far as the eye can see. The colours in the room very much complimented the colours of the view. Byredo bal d'Afrique products in the bathroom. The hotel smelt amazing, and the interior looked amazing. Superior in every way. Breakfast was outstanding. Service was exceptional. Loved loved loved our five-day stay."
