It was a fantastic stay and felt really comfortable. Love the local vibe around the surrounding area and everything works. One thing that might need to be looked at is the lighting in the room and inside the cupboards. It’s a bit too dark.

The room layout was great for a small room, okish partial sea view, friendly staff, solid laundry service. Transport to the city was easy, just 5min walk to train station. On the disappointing side, the walls were quite dusty to be honest. Also the lighting above the fridge was very poor, can't see the second and third level cabinets clearly. Dining options were very limited in the area. Restaurant was good but too expensive for our budget

All is well but the showers are not.
The showers and their concomittant drainage design were the bane of my existence for the entire stay. You couldn't stand for 30 seconds without the entire bathroom being flooded everytime. Goes to show contemporary cannot always be married with functional. Otherwise the property is at a decent location, close to the train station, thence well connected. Housekeeping was hit and miss. You'd ask for 10 mins and they'd never return. Happened on two different occasions. Techwise, the property is very chic and suprisingly up to date. You'd have no problem connecting to your various apps with the tv. The gym is 24 hours, as is the business centre, meeting area and launderette. In comparison Melbourne hotels tend to be stuck in a bygone era. Safe locale, you'd have no trouble venturing out in the night. On the quieter end of the spectrum.

Clean, crisp new hotel for a good price
Great hotel, very new and the room was a good size with a good size fridge, kettle, and nice bathroom (agree with other reviews that lighting is terrible). For a long weekend, and vivid festival, this was a great value option, even if nth Sydney is a bit out of the way for some of the things we did. We had a great weekend and enjoyed our stay. Coles and aldi a few doors away too which is handy.
