"Our stay at the Pink Acorn was amazing! Kelly truly makes her guests feel welcome. She left a sweet note and lovely treats. The house is stocked with everything you need and was exceptionally clean. The beds are super comfortable and have nice cozy blankets. Am added bonus was seeing rabbits and chipmunks in the backyard. Kelly leaves directions to walk to the beach around the corner and it’s a must do…and make sure to grab some ice cream at the shop across from the park."
"The cottage is clean and well stocked for a long weekend. The view of the lake is beautiful, and I'm sure it's even better in the warm months. We had everything we needed. Great little house for a long weekend."
"This is a historic building. Formerly the actual Governor’s Mansion. So the room had a historic feel. More expensive than the usual stay, like a Days Inn, but worth it. Halt the price of where I often stay, Madison Concourse. It is within walking distance of the Capital Building and a ton of great restaurants! Will definitely return!"

"Beautiful spot to have special family time and everyone was comfortable with plenty of space. Kitchen and family room spacious and beautiful…even on a rainy day wonderful bright and cozy. We loved our stay"
"This property is in a fantastic location with incredible views. We had a great month staying here. Chris was so good to work with. The unit itself is not luxurious but it was fine for our needs. We worked from here and had great internet experiences. The kitchen is not fully stocked so if you plan to cook much, bring what you need. Also bring wine glasses if you are a wine drinker. Overall, great experience and we are coming back next summer."
"Great spot! Fun to be in a historical home on the water. Obvious maintenance needed which is happening soon but it’s still great. Continental breakfast is excellent. "
