"Fantastic hotel. Stayed here for the second time a year in between. Stunning boutique style hotel that’s embraced its past and merged well with contemporary features. Wonderful classically designed and decorated rooms oozing quality with clear attention to detail. Bathroom well appointed and immaculately kept and cleaned. Bed was super comfortable with plenty of space in the room to sit and relax. Surprising for a city centre hotel these days! "

"Hotel and location great. Toilet blocked in the morning and we told reception when we went to breakfast but still wasn’t fixed when we came back an hour later. Had to call again and insist someone comes to sort out it as there isn’t a toilet brush in the room, finally someone came but initially they said there were no maintenance people , it was 7:30 am when we first told them "

"Hotel looking a bit tired in places, needs sprucing up as lost the opulence feel, the classic room was basic, could have been in any hotel room. The reception staff very friendly and the location central to the city centre. Breakfast was nice and the added extra of takeaway cups was a bonus."
