"Very nice place. Excellent breakfast, and very helpful staff. Located right on the edge of Old Heraklion, so it's easy to walk there. Just a 10 minute walk to the port, so if you are arriving or departing by ferry, you won't need a taxi. If you are arriving by car, just push the button at the entrance, and they will raise the arm for you."

"The hotel was excellent in all regards, including the restaurant. Short walking distance to the archeology museum. 10 min walking to the ferry boats. Breakfast was sumptuous and fresh. The only exception was the noise at the near by harbor. We stayed a total of 6 njghts. On three out of the 6 nights, there was loud music, some kind of party, at the near by harbor that lasted well after midnjght. "

"Beautiful beach view rooms, easy layout, enjoyable turtle haven in the lobby, many sun beds on the beach. Manager Manos runs around all day making sure everything is running smoothly in all areas to taking orders, clearing off plates efficiently, booking dinner reservations, etc all with a bubbling smile. "We had a two week stay May2024 and I have to say, we had a fantastic stay. We arrived just before the beginning of the season and it was pretty dead to be honest which was really nice to spend the first few days to relax. We mainly stayed by the pool most days and was very well looked after by Claudia who is a real asset to the team. She’s relentless in making sure you are well looked after. My main frustration is the rule around the use of the sun mattresses (yes that’s not a typo) around the pool being €150 a day. That’s ridiculous and there were only 1 or 2 being used, mainly after a certain time in the afternoon when things start to wind down. Personally, this is the one thing that needs to change as that’s a silly price. The food and booze is excellent although on the expensive side, you do get what you pay for so make sure if you don’t have all inclusive, you bring some cash. Everything else was brilliant, all of the team at the front desk and buffet breakfast should get a massive shout out. If we ever had an issue, it was sorted pretty much immediately. The hotel is situated 10 minute walk from the main town and you will find some brilliant local tavernas around there to complement your stay. Enjoy!!"

"My wife and I spent a week at Domes Noruz during our first ever visit to Crete, and from start to finish the experience was top notch. All of the staff were very warm and kind, and to my surprise even knew us by name towards the end of the visit. The food was quite good, we loved waking up to the breakfast buffet each day and hit the raw bar almost daily for delicious lunches and drinks. We spent an afternoon at the spa as well, and really enjoyed the wet area (salt water pool, steam room, sauna) prior to our high quality 90 min massages. The room itself (wellness loft) was delightful. Highly functional, stylish design, and a very comfortable bed. My laziness got the better of me most days, but I did take advantage of the outdoor gym one day. This was the best equipped hotel gym I’ve ever seen, normally I write off lifting while away from home but to have a bench press / squat rack at my disposal was an unexpected treat. While the resort itself is lovely, Chania is worth stepping out to and is an easy 10 min cab ride away. There’s too many great folks to call out by name, but I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to Kostas for the warm welcome, Elpida for setting up all of our excursions, and Nikos for various great recommendations to eat/drink in Chania proper. We loved our stay at Domes and will definitely prioritize the sister properties for our next visit to Greece!"
