"This is a great spot for a stay in Livingston. The rooms are spacious with lots of old charm. We were on the 4th floor, and elevator isn’t readily available. Also, its feet from a railroad track that blows the whistle a few times in the middle of the night! None of these things bother us at all but I could see that being a problem for more fussy travelers. The location is incredible, walkable the best shops, restaurants, and bars. The Murray Bar is actually the best spot in town! "

"We’ve stayed here many times to the point where I’ve lost track. It rained for most of the time but we soaked at Chico and also had a wonderful meal at their dining room. We watched movies and read a lot. We also prepared our own meals using the fully stocked kitchen. A new addition was the the wifi, which I was grateful for as I was able to monitor my home and greenhouse remotely. Had it been nicer weather, we would have hiked up to Emigrant Creek Falls. We’ve also taken our bikes several times...

"My wife and I took our 5 year old granddaughter to Yellowstone and thought Emigrant, Montana would be a good base camp. Jean and John’s house proved to be the best vacation rental of the 15 or so we have rented. The view of the mountains is stunning and the house is wonderfully quiet and secluded.
