The real objection lies in the day-long, unavoidable (even indoors) noise of motorbikes heading to the yearly Bol d'Or meet, which builds up to the main event itself at the end of September by holding regular races throughout the month thereby attracting motorcyclists from all over Europe who then use the only road to the Castellet circuit that...

"A beautiful home with wonderful views over Cassis. We were a large family group of mixed ages, the youngest was 11 years old. For families with younger children the uphill walk from the village would be more of a challenge but taxis were relatively easy to access. The walk to and from the village took around 20-30 mins. The villa itself was beautiful, well laid out with plenty of outdoor and indoor space, the pool at the villa was big enough for us but the older children also spent a little time...

"We stopped here for one week in October and arrived late afternoon to a warm welcome from the owner Veronique. We were blown away by the high quality of the villa, it is very impressive. Everything was shown to us from toilets to Wi-Fi. The villa was ready for us to move in for our holiday. It was spotlessly clean. So spacious and the open plan downstairs was excellent and well used. The kitchen has great units which my wife used. Good cooker and fridge etc. The driveway for the car is private...

"The area was beautiful and the villa was a good size for my family. We found the villa a little tired and it would benefit from a little updating. The pool area could be even better if it were refurbished. Overall we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return as we loved the area."

"Just back from a fantastic week at this lovely villa. It was really well equipped, spotlessly clean and in a quiet residential area. The pool was a hit for us all from teens to grandparents and a lovely seating area outside. "Une belle villa bien équipée avec tout ce qu il faut pour y vivre en famille. Ustensile, wi fi, gel hydro, barbecue... petit bémol pour la piscine non chauffée qui nous a tenu à l écart en fin septembre. L environnement est super belle terrasse et les tables ext son neuve et peuvent accueillir les grandes familles. Propriétaires super sympa et accueillant. "The property has tons of space indoor and outdoor for us (family of 9). We had the opportunity to use the pool and it was definitely helpful in a hot summer day. "Incredible location right on the port of Cassis, on the "road to the Calanques" side! It's small, but very cozy and functional. Comfy bed and couch, with everything you need including WiFi and A/C. Denny was very welcoming and helpful. 10/10 would stay again!"

"We had a sweet stay at Francoise's place. It had everything we needed for a few nights in Cassis. While it was further out of town that we originally thought, it was a beautiful walk in (around 45 mins), and a very easy drive to the port area of Cassis, and most importantly, to the national park for the Calanques. Francoise made checking in and out a breeze. We had everything we needed and we were encouraged to reach out for anything. All in all, a great spot!"
