"Lovely hotel. Look, the rooms are a bit dated (at least the room I had was), but the service is impeccable, and it is very comfortable, and in the heart of the city."

"Hotel dates from 1972 and has that grand feel about it with touches like the staircase railings and lift entrances. Although some updating has taken place, the carpets looked pretty new and clean some of the decor in the corridors was a bit 'tired'. My room was very clean with a kettle and coffee making facilities although the addition of a microwave would have been useful. The room had a great view of the harbour and bridge, a special mention must go to the pillows which were numerous and exceptionally comfortable. The hotel was comfortably within a 30 minute leisurely walk to the Circular Quay of the Harbour bridge. Parking in Sydney is pretty demanding so to have the use of an underground car park on site for the reasonable cost of $25 per day was fantastic. Staff were courteous at all times, Deejay was particularly helpful. "

"Best location, close to the central station and lots of food around. It faces a quiet street so you won't hear traffic at any time during the day. The room is spacious and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel."
