A very friendly & warm welcome both at the gatehouse and in reception on arrival! It made the experience special right from the beginning, the Porter (Shaun) went above and beyond to show us around the hotel & its facilities! Our room with hot tub amazing view didn’t disappoint either! The asian Restaurant Mizumi is and definitely worth a visit too, great food and service!...

"We stayed at the cottage house which is outside the main building. It was very spacious and has an indoor jacuzzi tub which is why we booked it. The hot water is pre-heated, so it was just enough to fill the tub. There won’t be hot water after if you wanted a shower. Also, an important downside for us was the wifi signal is so weak that neither our phone nor laptops could pick any signal. Was a bit disappointed in that regard as the hotel is aware of the problem but made no effort to fix it....

"Had a fantastic stay in the Edelweisse suite for part of our honeymoon tour of the lakes. Room was spotless and awesome. Fantastic facilities in the room, difficult to choose between hot tub or spa bath, so alternated between the two. Batj may have edged it due to TV! Comfortable bed and sofa. Breakfast was ordered the evening before and brought to our room, and was delicious!"

"Was really disappointing the shower area was so tiny you couldn’t turn around if you did the shower curtain kept sticking to you and so much damp in this tiny area. You had to keep your arms in. The TV kept freezing and you could turn the Tv over with the remote control. The The breakfast was nice."

Our room with hot tub amazing view didn’t disappoint either! The asian Restaurant Mizumi is and definitely worth a visit too, great food and service! The perfect finish to our stay was being chauffeured into town by Lesley in their brand new Bentley flying spur. Can’t recommend this place highly enough! "
