“Very Good”

we stayed two nights in july 2006. valet parking was priced very reasonably and was great service with easy access to the vehicle. complimentary high speed internet was great. hotel staff was pleasant and had great info to share. location was ideal, right on the fringe of victoria's vibrant summer activities. we will try using this hotel again.

“Wheelchair access and Central location”

This is one of the few wheelchair accessible hotels in Victoria that is good value. I would highly recommend it to people with limitd mobility and those with no problems... Staff was extremely friendly and helpful., rooms were comfortable and large and you can not beat the location.

“Perfect for the budget”

Stayed here for long weekend just to explore the city. Location is great - easy to walk anywhere in the harbor area. Staff was very friendly and rooms were comfortable. A bit small but they had been updated and were very clean. My boys were upgraded to a suite - 2 dbls - which would work well for a small family with the pull out couch and small kitchen area. Highly recommend if you want to save some money and still be downtown.

“Victoria 2009”

We stayed here on a friend's recommendation and because we had a dog. The place was very pet friendly, gave great advice to travelers on local dining, was well situated, and was very nice for the value.

“Very nice hotel”

We paid for a two queen room but were upgraded to a studio (don't know why). It had everything you needed including a small kitchen with refridgerator, microwave, burner and cutlery. They also had a LCD flat TV (not that we watched it much). They gave us a crib for our girl for free There's valet parking for a charge (you don't have to pay the valet though).

“Wonderful Service!”

Really enjoyed our stay at this nice facility. The Hotel clerks were very helpful, and pleasant! The location was central to all the downtown sites. The room was spacious and well maintained. Enjoyed brining our well behaved pet.

“Home away from home”

I have stayed at the Best Western Carleton Plaza on several occasions and I have never been disappointed. There is a very helpful staff. From everything from Tourist attractions to internet cafe's to local bus scheduals. Very impressed. It is an older hotel but has a lot of charm. Great location, just a walk to the harbour. Enjoy my stay every time.

“Excellent value.”

Visited in August 2009 with two kids and husband. Fantastic location, in the middle of downtown Victoria. Our room was big, clean and comfy. The first night we were near the ice-machine and it kept me awake --- of course, only me. One word to the staff and they happily moved us, finding us a good room even at peak holiday season. They have bikes you can borrow(no charge) and we only had to rent smaller bikes for our girls down the street. We had a great outing on the bikes, and the staff were friendly, gave us extra water, and let us have them as long as we liked. Overall, I would stay here again as the service made it worth it -- five star service at budget prices.

“Great room and location”

The location is great, convenient for walking to the inner harbour or to Chinatown. Our suites are spacious for our family.
