Overall property was great. Clean. Location was ideal. However the team managing the reservation were not great. They initially had the incorrect location for my reservation. Then they required payment in order to send the property my reservation even though I had selected the option to pay once I arrived. I ended up waiting 45 mins at the property to get things sorted with the property management team before I could checkin. Once checked in though everything else was great.

Pros: location. I was at an event at the Convention Centre and was great to be so close. Size- nice and spacious Kitchen- very handy Price- booked in advance and very reasonable for downtown, especially for an apartment Cons- registration and check in. A hassle. Did't work until 3rd try. Then there was a screw up with check in. Another name was registered to my room. Security called the company but was at least 20 mins waiting. Customer service- no one on site. Security guards only. See issue with check in. Bag storage. There is none, probably also linked to no staff on site. Huge difference from a hotel. Realize l took this for granted. Condition of apartment. Very tired. Dents and dirt on walls, badly stained entry bench. Good thing it was clean everywhere else but honestly, they need to spend a small amount to paint and replace stained furniture.

The entire experience from booking, to parking, and communication was very unusual and stressful. Not what you want for a vacation/medical trip. Never received parking information and once we paid and got a spot number there was no way for us to get in to the parking garage without concierge so couldn’t use vehicle all trip. Microwave was broken, bed broken and couch was super stained.

This is an absolute terrible listing. Be careful of this company!! We had an incident happen at our unit and they were avoiding our calls, and Expedia trying to deal with them. We are still trying to sort out the situation without getting police involved. When we spoke to the concierge of the building they told us that this company RS Boutique Suites manages short term rentals all over the ciry and that many of them are illegal. It is really concerning that this company is even allowed to list with Expedia. Also about the actual unit, when we arrived the whole place stunk of major chemical cleaners, as if it had been spilt all over. We had to open the doors and windows for days to be able to sleep without getting a headache. There was a bench by the door that had a huge stain on it, also the bed didnt have a full sheet set on it and when we looked around we saw that they had put the sheet on the seat of the couch, almost to cover it. We could not stay in the unit due to the incident and the state of the unit.

The suite is decent in a good location, with a nice kitchen and washer/dryer. Big king bed, walk-in closet and a comfortable dining/living room area. It feels like the absentee owner doesn't care and just wants to minimize their expenses. It could be great if the owners would upgrade some of the basics and avoid the cheap vibe - dollar-store cutlery, soap and shampoo bottles are on the floor, shabby towels, awful cheap plastic plants. We only got check-in info on the train from the airport. They refused to provide earlier and despite us paying a deposit beforehand, which was stressful and made me suspect it could be a scam.

The room was great but reeked of chemicals and I had to pick multiple long hairs off the bed sheets. Fortunately there was a sliding door to get some fresh air. I couldn't understand anything the person at the front desk said, so I didn't know you have to use the keyfob to operate the elevator. We were stuck in the elevator (doors wouldn't even open) and my daughter panicked and was crying. Great location and apartment but I would not do it again.
