Very small rooms

Posted 23-Mar-2015
The lobby was grand, the room was tiny. The bathroom was something you expect from an IBIS hotel rather than a Hilton. Wifi very expensive. Dining and drinking options are pretty fancy.

Moved rooms at 1am

Posted 22-Mar-2015
Tv didn't work at 1pm engineer arrived quickly and resolved the problem. Security on the lift was rude and sent us to a closed bar in the hotel. After dining returned to room at midnight tv not working moved rooms to a lower floor with terrible views at 1 am was given complimentary breakfast and refunded parking so the experience wasn't too bad just the inconvenience of packing up and moving at 1 am and being awake all night after this plus the rude security put a dampner on things I hope my stay at nottingham Hilton in April will be better than this

Location

Centrally located. Closer to major tourist attractions, transport and shopping areas. However they serve very poor breakfast, not worth it.

A bit of a splurge

Posted 12-Mar-2015
Pros: The comfort and the restaurant.
Cons: The cost of the parking.
Location: State theatre is around the corner and queen Victoria building is over the road.
I treated myself for my 51st birthday and I wasn't disappointed. The room was comfortable and I woke feeling like I was floating on a cloud of pillows. My dinner in the restaurant was amazing and when the waiter found out it was my birthday, I was treated to a birthday surprise of a plate with happy birthday written on it in icing and four amazing truffles. My only small criticism is that the $67 parking fee is very high as other city hotels only charge around $35.

Great hotel in good location

Posted 2-Mar-2015
Pros: The classic modern feel and quality feel.
Cons: The breakfast on the Executive Level was too busy. When we arrived it was very difficult to find a table that was available let alone clean.
Location: The location is superb. Right in the middle of the CBD with heaps of shopping right at your doorstep and a short walk to the Rocks, Surrey Hills etc.
The hotel was modern and in a good location in the CBD. The room was quite small but it was also modern, clean, functional and comfortable.

Business Hotel im CBD mit guter Lage

Posted 11-Feb-2015
Pros: Die Lage
Cons: Lifte Reparieren, Freundlichkeit, Beleuchtung in den Zimmern.
Location: CBD, Alles was man will

Great location for shoppers!

Posted 30-Jan-2015
Pros: Among the best hotel for buffet breakfast selection. Fast internet. Kids friendly. VERY comfortable bed.
Cons: The only negative might just be that the Club Lounge food selection needs a update. Maybe I stayed there too many time to find it a bit boring.
Location: Right next to the main shopping district & Hyde Park. Walking distance to Chinatown & Darling Harbour.
Being their Diamond member, we were given a much better room upgrade than normal with much more to boost. Not much water view like other hotels near the Sydney Harbour, but MUCH better location if you want to do plenty of shopping.
