“Great stay, good location for visiting NYC”
The hotel is in a great location, right off the highway. The parking lot is spacious and is free. The hotel is very clean and new looking still for being a few years old. Our hotel room was great, very clean, with a fridge and a microwave and free wi-fi. Our room was near the highway, so you can hear highway noise. If you are a light sleeper I'd recommend asking for a room at the other end of the hotel which faces the local street. The restaurant serves breakfast in the morning but it's not free. It's a flat fee of about $12 a person. I'd recommend waiting till you get into NYC, or bring some breakfast food and eat in your room before you leave. There is a New Jersey bus that comes right in front of the hotel that goes to the port authority in manhattan, which is right near times square, so it was very convenient. The bus comes about every hour, and the times it comes are different on weeekends and weekdays, ask the front desk for a bus schedule. The fare is $4.25 for an adult one way, but just remember to buy bus tickets for the way home from the port authority because on the way back to NJ they don't take cash, only bus tickets. You need to select bus number 167 zone 3. On the way home you want to be on bus 167Q, if in doubt , always ask the bus driver if he goes to Overpeck Corporate Centre which is where the hotel is located. New York is a great city, and the hotel was a great place to stay and come back to every night. have a great time!
“Easy access to upper Manhattan”
We have relatives in Washington Heights, so we always stay here when we visit them. It's less than 10 minutes across the George Washington Bridge to NYC from this hotel. The hotel is fairly new, very clean and very comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. The surroundings are not great--the hotel is in an industrial park--but it is safe and the parking is free. The hotel breakfast is good and substantial, and I can recommend this hotel without reservation.

“Great place to stay!”
I was very impressed by this hotel! We got a very low price for one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. It is very close to the city, which is very easy to get to from the hotel. There is a bus stop right outside with frequent buses that go straight to port authority. The stay was great.

Although a quick visit, the hotel service was outstanding, the rooms clean, and the facilities just perfect.
“Best way into the city!”
We booked this hotel with our fingers crossed that we could get into Manhattan and the Bronx easily. We found out at check in there was a bus that literally picks you up from the hotel parking lot and drops you off at Times Square. The ride was 25 minutes and only cost about four dollars per person/one way. You seriously can't beat that deal! Getting back to the hotel at the end of the day was just as easy, although the bus was very, very crowded (get in line early and sit towards the front). The hotel itself, though undergoing some construction, was in great condition. Our room could not have been better! Quiet & comfortable. Unfortunately breakfast was not free (or cheap), but we knew that ahead of time. One suggestion - before leaving home, research places to eat nearby as there was nothing within eyeshot of the hotel.
