“Nice Place”
Awesome hotel at a great price. Excellent staff.
“Perfect Location from which to explore the Icefields Parkway”
The location of the property on the Icefields Parkway 55 km south of Jasper is perfect for exploring the area. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly at all times. The printed guides that the resort has created are excellent guides to the area and point out some great places that would otherwise be missed if trying to follow everyone else's recommendations. The restaurant was excellent for dinner, both nights we had wonderful meals with great service, plan on allowing some time for your meal but where else are you going anyway? The meals were not inexpensive but were worth the prices charged. The self serve deli was perfect for stocking up with food for the day before heading out. Morning service in the breakfast room was a bit sluggish and not up to the same standards as the evening "fine dining", but they were being hit by a lot of tour busses also. If back in the area I would not hesitate to stay here.

Food is much too expensive. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They treated us as important guests.
“great service, great location”
Although you may be put off, initially, by the resort's proximity to the Icefields Parkway, traffic noise is not an issue at night. We were in a front room and slept like babies. The fireplace helped! Service was excellent, very friendly and guest oriented. The resort's location between the icefields and Jasper Nat'l Park was also great for our purposes. If you're on a tighter budget, stop in Banff or Jasper and get some food (resort has refrigerators), as the restaurant is rather pricey. The actual Sunwapta Falls is a short stroll from the resort. We would definitely stay there again.
“Good service and a very nice and quiet place to stay.”
The service was excellent. The staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed having the fireplace in our room with complimentary firewood. No complaints.
“really nice hotel and really clean”
the only negatives i have is that it is a bit far from jasper ( as we had gone in for dinner then the drive back was a bit longer then wanted) if yoru spending a night in there is not much for tv channels which kind of leaves you with not much to do. nice comfy bed really friendly staff and nice a clean
“Great Food, Excellent Service”
This is a rustic hotel 33 miles south of the town of Jasper. The staff was fabulous, the food was outstanding, and the room was cozy, with fresh firewood each night for the fireplace. Stewart is the best!

This is the place to stay if you love nature, great service & good (albeit a tad expensive!) food!

“Sunwapta Falls Resort - Jasper National Park”
This was a lovely little resort with cabin style rooms set in some of the most specatacular scenary in Jasper National Park. The room I stayed in had a fireplace where firewood was complimentary and staff at the resort would start a fire for you upon request. A very nice feature after a long day of sight seeing. The location is fantastic and not too far from many of the major scenic stops in the park (Athabasca Falls, Sunwapta Falls, Columbia Icefields, Jasper town site and more). While the restaurant was a bit pricey, the food was 100% gourment and very well prepared. The coffee wasn't all that great though, and make sure you bring bottled water because the tap water has a strong mineral taste to it. Will definitely return in the future!
