“Beautiful place”
Beautiful place, very cozy, super clean, comfortable, large rooms in several little cottages. Great for a romantic getaway. Only issue in my room was that the heating was either hot with full steam or switched off (and then it got cold).
“a very nice B&B”
The Inn was very comfortable and very convenient to Stony Brook University - where I had business. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was more than adequate. There is a French restaurant that is part of the inn but there were other places to eat within walking distance and driving distance from the inn. All in all, the inn was reasonably priced and conventiently located. My room was adequate in size however, there are some rooms that are smaller. One has to remember that this was an old house converted to an inn. It is to be expected that some rooms would be smaller.
“Wonderful in all ways!”
This hotel is more like a comfy room at grandma's house. The rooms are super clean and decorated so beautifully. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. I would definitely return to this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone!
“You wanna know I will be going back!”
This hotel is what traveler’s dream of. Old rustic feel and look, friendly staff that would bend over backward and I mean backwards. The food was fantastic. The free breakfast, was not your pour a waffle out on a grill and make a piece of toast complimentary breakfast. The beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and view was to die for ... Truly a quaint little Inn with lots of personality.

“Nice quiet cozy place.”
The Three village Inn is a very quaint and quiet place. Lots of activity downstairs at the event center but not much of the hustle and bustle makes it upstairs. Food was good. Parking for bedroom guests is tight if there is an event going on. A hundred yards to the water makes for nice walks. A small shpping center and museum is just a block away. Exactly what we wanted.

Stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. The bar is excellent and the food is fantanstic. A great old hotel with alot of charm. Nice village right across the street with lots of stores to enjoy on any down time you may have.
“Nice place to stay”
Lovely room in the main building, spacious with antique furniture. Breakfast buffet was good. Service in the bar was slow. The staff were helpful with getting us to and from Stony Brook University during working hours (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) but the shuttle bus driver doesn't work outside those hours. They happily ordered a taxi for us when we rang them from the railway station on arrival at 9:30 p.m. The railway station is 2 miles away and the centre of Stony Broook campus is 3 miles away. For non-American readers: it is not really possible to walk to either of them owing to the absence of sidewalks and the complete incomprehension of the locals as to why one would even consider walking.
“First impression of room wasn't my final impression”
First impression of the room wasnt as nice as I'd expected. The carpet looked worn and the bathroom also appeared older and worn. The beds, dresser, desk,alarm clock, TV, all were nice and more updated. I realized I didn't mind the older worn parts because they were very clean and in working order. The room was also part of a little house or cottage which had a patio out back. The hotel grounds were very quiet and peaceful. We had our own assigned parking spot. The restaurant staff was extremely professional and accomodating. The breakfast was very good. In a nutshell, the hotel was charming.
“Charming little hotel”
The three village inn is a charming little place near the water. has a great restaurant and terrific bartenders. They pick you up at the station and breakfast was included in the price. Watch the steps going to the rooms in the cottages though. The registration desk staff is superb
