I was disappointed with this property. I was expecting better for $199 a night. The reason for choosing it was for the “excellent” reviews it had vs others similar properties at cheaper rates, but unfortunately I did not find it to be “excellent” but average.The first and continuous impression was that it was deserted, isolated and no one was seen around at any time. The halls, dining area and pool area were always empty as well as the parking lot..so if you are looking for a quiet property this is it. it did feel safe though but nevertheless a weird lonely old feeling. The room was quite smaller than other hotels .. just a plain room with that ugly smell when you first get in.. it was also clean and I found the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was good & we liked they offered it till 10:30 am on weekends bc who wants to get up early on vacation for just a breakfast? So that was convenient and appreciated..the food items were decent.. the typical Continental breakfast with all its variety and the coffee was excellent! The food attendant was helpful but also made you feel uncomfortable just standing there staring while we serve our foods.,it just felt like being watched & judged. The front staff was ok..if anything rude. No welcome words or smiles at all and very poor eye contact.,at the check out same rude person (with the mustache) who will not even respond to my “Happy Easter” greeting! I will not stay here again as I have found better properties closer to the district!
