“Comfort Inn & Suites Savannah Airport”
I was not happy with the king size bed and the pillows. They were too hard for me. WI-fI was too slow. Lastly, bathroom had a running toilet.
“Disappointed”
Despite my confirmed and prepaid reservation, the double queen room I had reserved was not available at check in and we were placed in a King/sofa bed room. The sofa bed was not made up. It is not fun to move furniture late at night and put on sheets, and sleep on a sofa bed when you are tired from traveling all day. When I asked the management for at least a partial refund for the inconvenience, they would not oblige ("the manager is not here and I am not authorized to offer refunds") and referred me back to Expedia. Expedia's representative was helpful but the hotel staff gave her the same run-around. Walls were paper thin so we could hear the very loud guests in the next room all night long. At breakfast, the waffle machine was not working properly, so I ended up with an undercooked waffle that tasted like the batter was sour. We expect to travel to Savannah frequently over the next few years and will not stay here again!
“Passing Through....”
Passing through and need a place to stay for the night. looked online and seen several hotels in this area and i opted to pay high dollar for one night. i get in at 9:45pm to check in and there is a line! There were two people working the counter. So two guys in front of me both had to have there rooms inspected before check in because the hotel didn't have there rooms ready. The next guy had a voucher from the airline because his flight was delayed and they told them they where booked! He caught a taxi there too. Poor guy. the other eight hotels next to us were booked too. Anyway one of the people behind the counter was doubling as the bartender and there were two drunk couples in the bar area and they would get rowdy when they wanted drinks and would use foul language. I wouldn't have mind if my three young boys weren't sitting in the lobby over hearing their conversations. Finally 45 minutes later i get checked in and it took less than five minutes. So after working 8 hours and to be on the road for four hours straight to get to your hotel room and having to wait almost and hour plus what i paid for the room it was not a good experience. i will NOT ever come back to this location. Oh, and the guy in the lobby that had a glock in his pocket didn't help either. *The bed was horrible too the frame that the bed was sitting on would squeake every time we moved. So i didn't get much sleep.
