“Loved it!!!”

We absolutely loved this hotel and would come back in a heart beat. The area is great for just walking around and looking at all the beautiful buildings. The staff was wonderful and the bed comfortable. I was told by someone from S.F. that I should book a place with S.F. charm rather than a chain hotel. I'm so glad I listened to him. If I ever come back to S.F. I'll stay here.

“Great Hotel”

Comfortable, clean, and beautiful. A bit out of the way from the action, but well worth it.

“Wonderful Step Back In Time”

This hotel is a bit like stepping back in time to a by gone age. Service was good and rooms were very clean and sizeable.Breakfast was a nice inclusion as was the cookies & sherry served in Mid Afternoon Hotel is a little of the beaten track but there is a bus stop outside with a regular service from down town. The real bonus of this hotel however is that is about a 5 Minute Walk to the Cable Car which takes you directly to down town. This is the California Line and is much less crowded than the other lines. Overall we were very satisfied with the Queen Anne and SF is a truly wonderful city.

“Lovely hotel”

The hotel has an interesting history and the public areas are beautifully furnished with antiques. Internet access s available and free, which is also a great help.

“We'd love to return.”

This is the perfect choice for a romantic get-away. The staff was friendly and accomodating, the decor charming, and the Pacific Heights local a good jumping-off spot for exploring the city. We'd love to return.

“Happy Parent of College Student”

The check-in staff were efficient, polite, knowledgable, and welcoming. Everything was perfect. They helped us locate the boxes shipped ahead of time, and also helped arrange for a large taxi van to help transport it all to campus. They didn't charge any extra fees and were very accommodating of our unique situation. The free breakfast is sufficient (hard boiled eggs, sausage patties, breads, baggles, muffins, pastries, fruit, cerial, juice .. the works). The hotel is charming and the history of the building adds a very San Francisco feel to the place. The room was a bit small but the walk-in closet HUGE so that made it all work great. The bedding was a bit tattered and could use a refresh but everything was clean. Plan to stay at the Queen Anne every time I visit my daughter at school.

“Want to be there again”

My husband and me loved Queen Anne Hotel . Everything was excellent: services, location, people. The spirit of 19 century was the best! This is like trreveling in the past. Even we did not have modern conveniences (refrigerator, airconditioner, old TV) it was like the sign of the past. Only one small negative detail - when we check-out (our flight was at evening) we were charged for living our bagage for 3 hours in the hotel. It was first time when we paid for this convenience in american hotel.
