"Im sure normally it isnt so noisy but due to construction, it was very loud in the morning and at night. The were putting new sand on the beach. The train went through pretty often also and that was loud but didnt wake me up. Other than that, it was good. Lots of places within walking distance to eat and so close to the pier and beach. "

"Price worked well, clean and comfortable beds, easy check in within the prime walking locations of San Clemente. Not to mention Nomads is delish for food and just upstairs. It was a bit strange to be underneath the restaurant (sunset room) and very loud until it closed / circa 11pm. The alley is right outside the window too but was quiet once all settled and we had a great sleep. Noted - dog friendly too"

Nice getaway hotel
"Hotel is located next to the freeway, but it’s tucked away conveniently so there’s no one aimlessly walking around the property. The property is really quiet and I didn’t have a single noise complaint. The location is very close to different food options down the hill which makes things super easy. Service is a hit or miss, housekeeping took 45 minutes to give me some linen and I had to recall them for an update, delivered shortly after. The breakfast is real good and just what you expect, it’s a great balance and good options with good coffee. Pool isn’t extravagant as the pictures but it’s clean. Kind of awkward that the pool is in eye view of incoming guests from the lobby and not very private. The room is pretty spacious and comes with a mini fridge and microwave which is a plus for me. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would choose to stay here if I was in the area again. "
